A.D.S. is a space for dialogue, reflection, and lived experience. It blurs the boundaries between research, artwork, and audience, treating art not as something fixed or finished, but as something alive, continuous, and always in the process of becoming.

Moodies are a series of digital collages by Ash Townsend that layer imagery, color, and texture to evoke a mood, feeling, or moment.
The series began as a creative exercise in composition and instinct, allowing her to explore ideas quickly and intuitively. Over time, Moodies have become a recurring framework within her practice, informing her physical collage and painting work.
Because each Moodie captures a singular point of view, every print released is a true 1/1. One Moodie, one edition, never reprinted.

It’s All Subjective is Ash's personal Substack. A when-she-gets-to-it newsletter that follows the threads of her practice: the ideas, references, and shifts in thinking that shape her work.
You can expect audio notes, bits of journal entries, stream-of-consciousness thoughts, research tangents, places she's drawn to, exhibitions she's looking at, works in progress, etc.

They sit within her broader exploration of "anemoia," nostalgia for eras and places never personally lived, yet somehow felt.

Rooted in the belief that spaciousness fuels creativity, Recess is a seasonal in-person gathering series.
Designed as a pause from the pace of digital life, each gathering invites participants to step away from screens, structures, and expectations, and offers an opportunity for others to reconnect with themselves, their practice, and one another.
We’re currently welcoming collaborators, facilitators, and brands or small businesses who share our ethos, those interested in teaching, sharing, or simply holding space for creative exchange.
